Career Agents Network Announces Winner of 2010 Career Agent Military Scholarship for "Entrepreneur Hero"
Numerous applicants applied and although they did not win the scholarship, they are eligible for a $10,000 partial scholarship towards becoming a Career Agent until Armed Services Day, April 7th, 2010.

Our military service men and women oftentimes hunt for work after their military career. In many cases, these heroes are forced into entrepreneurship because they can’t find work elsewhere. We want to help. Until April 7, 2010 (Armed Forces Day), every current or former service person who applies to the Career Agents program with Career Agents Network will receive a $10,000 scholarship to start their recruiting business in a high-growth industry like medical, health it or renewable energy. One applicant has already been chosen chosen for the $20,000 scholarship. To be eligible, veterans simply need to: 
- Complete the Business Analysis Process to be a Career Agent
- Submit an essay on entrepreneurship
The Business Analysis Process we ask prospective Career Agents to go through helps them determine if starting their own business recruiting in high-growth industries like healthcare, Health IT and renewable energy is the right direction for them. The process is simple and straight forward:
- Review of a Career Agent Business Plan
- Participation in an online demonstration of our software
- Interviews with at least three Career Agents on our Advisory Panel
The final step to be eligible for the $10,000 scholarship is to submit a personally written essay on entrepreneurship.
